A School Improvement Plan (SIP) or School Development Plan (SDP) is a central document used by Senior Leadership teams to map out their strategic plans for the development of their school.

SMART Goal for Student learning in literacy

75% of students meet/exceed on spring 2024 FastBridge (In summer of 2023 - 2024 70% of ICS’ K-2

students  met/exceeded the national benchmark percentage for Fastbridge  (Early Reading and Reading).

By spring 2023 - 2024 the following percentage of 3rd - 8th graders will meet/exceed on IAR in overall

ELA: 64% (In Spring 2023, the following percentage of 3rd - 8th grade students met/exceed on IAR in overall ELA: 61.1%)

K-3 teachers deliver daily systematic phonics. 4th and 5th grade students identified based on results of From Phonics to Reading assessment, engage in daily systematic learning in their area of need.

6-8 ELA teachers provide whole+small group writing strategy lessons to address writing needs of students. 6-8 teachers provide specific feedback to students regarding their writing with the goal of developing writers rather than improving the one piece of writing.

82% of students will meet or exceed expectations on the spring 2024 FastBridge Assessment (In summer of 2023 - 2024 79% of ICS’ K-2 students  met/exceeded the national benchmark percentage for Fastbridge  (Early Math and Math)

By Spring of 2023 - 2024 the following percentage of 3rd - 8th grade students will met/exceed on IAR in overall math: 48%  (In Spring 2023, the following percentage of 3rd - 8th grade students met/exceed on IAR in overall math: 46%)
