Iroquois Community School orchestra students had an amazing time participating in the D62/Maine West Orchestra Festival, an annual collaboration among all three District 62 middle schools and Maine West High School.

Iroquois Community School has a unique Buddy Program in which every young Iroquois student is paired up with an older student, or "buddy" at the start of each school year. 

The Iroquois Community School Jazz Band recently participated in the Old Quarry Middle School Jazz Festival in Lemont, Illinois.

District 62 middle school concert band and orchestra students and Maine West High School music students recently came together for a musical collaboration.

Students in Ms. Valerie De Felice's second grade art club started a new project last week. 

Entertainer Dan Kirk presented his impressive juggling skills, along with a "STOP Bullying" presentation, to Iroquois students in kindergarten through fifth grade last Friday. 

The ICS 4th and 5th Grade Student Council hosted a clothing drive to benefit the Des Plaines Self Help Closet and Food Pantry. 

All Iroquois Community School eighth graders took a field trip to Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg in December. 

Iroquois Community School's Concert Orchestra and Concert Band performed at Generations Oakton Arms Nursing Home in Des Plaines on Friday, December 8.

ICS Talent Show 2023 is a fabulous event that showcases 28 unique acts from singing, dancing, martial arts and magic.

ICS hosted another fabulous Spirit Showdown on November 17th.

ICS recently hosted its first Warrior Showdown K-8 School Assembly of the school year on September 15th.

Iroquois intermediate orchestra students have been hard at work practicing for their upcoming concert! 

Iroquois 6th, 7th and 8th graders participated in a middle school meet at Maine West High School. 

Intermediate Band at ICS has been working on completing the Essential Elements for Band, Book 1 this year.

This week, 8th grade students took a field trip to Bernie's Book Bank in Lake Bluff.

This week is ICS' Middle School Student Government Executive Board Campaign Week.

3rd grade students learned about wax resist in art class this week.

The ICS Class of 2023 sponsored a volleyball game to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

ICS students work hard all week following the Warrior Expectations!  

It's been a great week of learning in Ms. Washam's Kindergarten class at Iroquois Community School.

Under the guidance of Mr. Radtke and Ms. Todd, fifth grade students were excited to have the opportunity to try out different band and orchestra instruments this week.

D62 welcomed back ICS staff on July 17 with 1st-8th grade students returning on July 19 followed by kindergarten students on July 20.

Stop by ICS and you might catch LMC Specialist Cathy Borge flying drones with students.

Each year Iroquois Community School opens it's doors to welcome family and friends of our K-5 students as part of their annual spring concert.

Matt Wilhelm came to Iroquois in May and shared his story of how one small act of kindness changed him from a bullied kid to a National Champion.

Every Monday during lunch/recess Mr. Radtke runs a ukulele club for 4th grade students.
