Iroquois Community School 5th graders recently stepped into the world of music with a hands-on instrument showcase!

After watching a teacher presentation demonstrating how the instruments look and sound, the students had a chance to check them out themselves.

They explored a wide variety of band and orchestra instruments-from the flute and violin to the trombone and cello-and even got to try out three of their top choices.

As students visited each instrument station, they received a quick demonstration and had fun trying the instruments themselves.

Joining the ICS music family requires zero prior experience. Just curiosity and enthusiasm.
