Warrior Leader Program Grows Confidence and Positivity

Warrior Leader Program Grows Confidence and Positivity
Iroquois

All students in sixth through eighth grade at Iroquois Community School have the opportunity to apply to become a Warrior Leader at the start of every school year.

The primary purpose of the Warrior Leader program is to “develop confident and positive student leaders.”

The program gives students the opportunity to learn about teamwork, goal-setting, decision-making and time management.

As part of the application process, students must write why they would like to become a Warrior Leader, what leadership qualities they possess and what strengths or talents they can bring to ICS.

The students also must have nominations and recommendations from teachers and uphold good academic and behavioral etiquette, as they are expected to be positive role models for the school.

As a Warrior Leader, the students are responsible for organizing and coordinating many activities, including assemblies, spirit days/weeks, paraeducator job fairs, district and school fundraisers and operating the student book fair.

The ICS administrators and staff are proud of their Warrior Leaders and all that they do for the school throughout the school year!
