Parking & Traffic Safety

Students should arrive no earlier than 7:50 a.m. 

PM Kindergarten students should arrive no earlier than 12:10 p.m.

• Once your child is dropped off, he or she should proceed to their homeroom/grade level line, then 
  • Morning kindergarten, first grade, second grade, sixth grade, seventh grade, and eighth grade will enter at Door #12  - Morning kindergarten through 2nd grade parents and 6th - 8th grade parents may drop their child off via Warrior Way
  • Third grade and Mrs. Redding’s 4th grade class will enter at Door #14 - 3rd grade and Mrs. Redding’s 4th grade parents may drop their child off via Warrior Way or Birch Street
  • Fifth grade and Mrs. Zahorak’s 4th grade class will enter at Door #15 - 5th grade and Mrs. Zahorak’s parents may drop their child off via Warrior Way or Birch Street
  • Afternoon Kindergarten will enter at Door #2 - Afternoon Kindergarten parents may park on Maple Street or in the front parking lot for afternoon kindergarten
• Students will line up on their assigned line and will be able to enter the building when the bell rings at 7:55
• Parent(s)/guardian(s) will not be allowed to enter the building, unless they come to the main entrance and sign in

• Children will exit the bus at Door #1
• After students exit the bus, they will walk along the sidewalk and join their classrooms and enter the buildings at doors 12, 14 or 15

• All students will be dismissed through their assigned door. Please be patient while waiting for your child to be dismissed
• Morning and Afternoon Kindergarten: Door #2
• First grade, second grade, and third grade: Door #12
• Fourth grade: Door #14
• Fifth grade, sixth grade, seventh grade and eighth grade: Door #15
• School staff will facilitate pick up for 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade students waiting for a parent/guardian
• Parents/guardians who come to school to meet their child can wait for them on the playground, the sidewalk, on Warrior Way, or on Birch Street
• Warrior Way is a no parking zone
• Parent(s)/guardian(s) will not be allowed to enter the building unless they come to the main school entrance and sign in 

•  Children who ride the bus will exit the building at Door #1 and will board the bus directly outside of the ICS main entrance
